The multiple choice question test is conducted on a computer with a touch screen. The test consists of 35 questions, each question having a list of four possible answers for you to choose from. You are required to select the correct answer, or answers, by touching the appropriate area of the computer screen. You will be given up to 15 minutes practice time before the test, you are then given 40 minutes to complete the test multiple choice section. To pass this section you are required to answer 30 out of the 35 questions correctly.

The hazard perception test consists of a selection of video clips showing potential hazards you could encounter during everyday driving. You will be shown 14 clips in total each lasting approximately 1 minute. You are required to click the potential hazard as it develops. The pass mark for the Hazard Perception Test is 44 out of 75.
