1stgear specialise in Fast Pass courses. Each course is specifically tailored to your level of experience and all the tuition is conducted on a one to one basis, so the hours you pay for are not taken up watching another pupil learn to drive.

To start straight away on a fast pass course you must have a valid theory test certificate, this is required to book your practical test.

How is the Course Structured?

Where practical it is advisable to have an assessment lesson before deciding on the number of hours required prior to your practical test. This way your instructor will be able to assess your standard of driving and they will be able to give you a more accurate figure on the number of hours you are likely to require. When you know how many hours you are going to require prior to your test we will book a test date and plan your hours on the days prior to your practical test date.

I Haven't Passed my Theory

If you have not passed your theory test 1stgear can supply a CD Rom for you to start studying for your theory exam, the waiting time for a theory test date is usually around 2 weeks. You may also start taking lessons whilst studying your theory test. Taking your driving lessons whist studying for the Theory / Hazard Perception Test can be of benefit. During your lessons your instructor will be pointing out road signs, road markings and hazards and asking questions relating to them thus ensuring you are not just gaining practical experience but also preparing you for your Theory / Hazard Perception Test.
