Can I take lessons prior to taking the Theory Test? Yes, taking your driving lessons whilst studying for the Theory / Hazard Perception Test can be of benefit. No, if you require starting or finishing your lessons at different places i.e. work collage etc, this can be arranged with your instructor. Will I have to have the same lesson time each week? Your instructor will advise you on the best way for you to structure your lessons. It is advisable to have your lessons at different times of the day and week where possible to enable you to experience differing traffic situations. If due to other commitments you have to have a set time each week this can be pre booked with your instructor. You will book all lessons directly with your instructor. Will I have the same instructor each lesson? Yes, 1stgear realise that having consistency and feeling comfortable with your instructor will benefit your training. However, there maybe occasions, when your usual instructor is unable to teach you, due to unforeseen circumstances. Should this be the case, a replacement instructor will be provided.
